Black Legion. Breaks Apart Under Outbreak.'s Heavy Firepower

The second quarter final in the 9th Alliance Tournament was a decisive fight between Black Legion. [MEN.] and Outbreak. [TOXIN] with TOXIN completely smashing MEN. and advancing to the semi finals.
MEN. brought a Caldari high damage, close range setup of three Tengus, fitted with heavy assault missiles, two Gilas, three Worms and one Basilisk for shield logistics. TOXIN brought a Minmatar close range, high speed setup with three Sleipnirs, one Claymore and a Scimitar for shield logistics plus Huginn for webbing and three Sabres and a Thrasher.
While MEN. warped most of their ships to medium range and only the Basilisk and Worms at the far end. TOXIN warped their ships to the opposite far end of the arena.
As soon as the match began, huge swarms of combat drones were set against the opponent team while the teams rushed full force towards each other, TOXIN straight after MEN.'s Basilisk.
Both teams clashed violently together, guns blazing hot and missile launchers flaring bright. MEN.'s Basilisk rocked heavily under the TOXIN's full assault, its shields failing within seconds and armor evaporating. It took only few seconds longer until the Basilisk was reduced to space rubble and the match turned heavily in TOXIN's favour.
Even though MEN. was now at a disadvantage already after a few seconds, they determinately focused fire on TOXIN's Sabres but they quickly evaded the short range heavy assault missiles and fled out of range.
TOXIN continued their work of destruction and with MEN,'s logistic support gone, they swiftly killed two Tengus and a Gila before losing one of their Sleipnirs, their only loss in this match.
After MEN. lost their Basilisk and two Tengus and TOXIN only one Sleipnir, the match was decided and it was only a matter of time for TOXIN to kill MEN.'s remaining ship which didn't take long.
Elo Knight from MEN. congratulated TOXIN and acknowledged their good team "They brought minmatar rush, 5-6k dps and super fast." He considered the place in the top 8 quite some success already "First year for our alliance in the tourney and got further than some vets".
Zarathushtra from TOXIN was completely satisfied with the result of the match "Was a really good fight and everything went as planned" and praised his team "Good performance from all of our pilots." And looked forwards "to face Darkside. We know that's gonna the hardest match."
