HYDRA RELOADED [HYDRA] Alliance defeated Negative Ten. [RED10], moving on to the quarter finals.

Both teams started out very far away from the arena’s center with all ships warping at the same range for each team.

When the signal to begin was given, the single [RED10] Dramiel charged across the field while the most of the other ships initially about retained their starting positions. HYDRA RELOADED focused most of their fire on the Dramiel as soon as it entered their immediate proximity. Meanwhile, Negative Ten. started moving their cruiser hulls closer to the enemy.

In the ensuing melee, [RED10] struggled to bring down [HYDRA]’s Basilisk while in turn HYDRA RELOADED started eliminating Negative Ten.’s cruisers. When [RED10] decided to switch their primary target, their numbers had already dwindled- they were furthermore unable to do any substantial damage to [HYDRA] until the end of the fight.

Capsuleer Maylin Li, who fought for HYDRA RELOADED, explained that it was not too difficult for their Rooks to remove much of [RED10]’s damage from the field since they had already been able to take out the Guardian with the Curse’s Neutralizers and the Lachesis with Sensor Dampeners, leaving only few Recon Ships that still needed to be jammed.

Mist3r Evil for Negative Ten. mentioned that his team should maybe not have rushed into their opponents that fast and gotten into the Rooks’ range. He commended [HYDRA]’s maneuvering proceeded to inform us that Negative Ten. would be back next year.
