Ushra'Khan Wins A Tough Match Against Old Intentions

During its first match of AT8, Ushra'Khan achieved a difficult victory against Old Intentions in a fight dominated by the use of high damage fleet configurations.
Old Intentions fleeted a 100% Amarr setup comprised of a Guardian, one Damnation, three Armageddons and one Abbadon.
Ushra'Khan countered with a mixed fleet comprised of a Raven, a Basilisk, two Cyclone, two Sleipnirs and a Nighthawk.
In the first seconds of the fight, Ushra'Khan tasked a cloud of Warrior-II drones to take out Old Intention's Basilisk. At the same time Old Intentions targeted their opponent's Guardian.
"We made the call to smash the Guardian very quickly... using the best damage type against him," recalled Lord Makk of Ushra'Khan.
Both the Basilisk and the Guardian were trashed before the one-minute mark. From that point forward, the fight was dominated by the heavy use of DPS and appeared very balanced for several minutes.
Ultimately, Ushra'Khan's team prevailed and melted through the remaining Old Intentions ships.
The match, was likely decided by a setup mistake on Old Intention's side: "[the Abaddon's capacitor] was bone dry... it was a captain's mistake in planning," explained DOLLI.
