WE FORM VOLTRON Stamp On Honourable Templum of Alcedonia With Giant Boot

WE FORM VOLTRON showed the power of a united, coordinated force in this hard-hitting, astonishingly rapid fight against Honourable Templum of Alcedonia, demolishing the opposing fleet in under 5 minutes from start to finish.

A key part of their strategy was the use of their Bhaalgorn flagship, WE FORM "DEVTRON," packing:

• 4 Mega Pulse Laser IIs, Vizan's Modified Heavy Energy Neutralizer, Ahremen's Modified Heavy Energy Neutralizer and Cormack's Modified Large Plasma Smartbomb in its high-slots;
• a 100MN Microwarpdrive II, a Heavy Capacitor Booster II, a Conjunctive Radar ECCM Scanning Array I and 2 of Gotan's Modified Stasis Webifiers in the mid-slots;
• a Damage Control II, 3 Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane IIs, 2 of Raysere's Modified Heat Sinks, a 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plate
• 2 Large Trimark Armor Pump Is and an Ancillary Current Router I.

At the start of the match, VOLTRON formed on the central arena beacon, while HTA set up at range, with one Absolution and a Hurricane on the beacon among the VOLTRON ships. HTA made the most of this positioning on the go, however, scrambling the VOLTRON Daredevils and knocking out their micro-warpdrives the instant the signal was given. BL00D THIRSTY, VOLTRON's Daredevil pilot, very rapidly became first blood, but Templum were very rapidly faced with some sacrifices of their own as Chaser 2020's Curse went the way of all flesh.

VOLTRON took a calculated risk by calling bruce 999 as their next primary - Tengus have performed potently in the last tournament and this one so far, especially when it comes to staying alive, but it melted fast, scoring some major points for the VOLTRON team. Then a quick shift in targets, and HTA's Guardian logistics ship was just a bright burst of light, followed by an HTA Daredevil that slipped in its evasion of pursuit for just long enough. The Templars weren't looking good but they weren't giving up either - an startling exquisite swirl of combat between an HTA Dramiel and a VOLTRON Daredevil flown by Deva Blackfire ended with Blackfire going home in a pod and HTA's Dramiel speeding off to sow chaos elsewhere... then exploding.

With only two Daredevils, a Hurricane, Harbinger and their Absolution left on the field, the Templars were in a terrible position, especially with WE FORM DEVTRON on the field, reaching out with those webs as if to say "You sit there and wait while we kill you." VOLTRON blitzed the Harbinger and HTA Hurricane in short order, picked off a Daredevil then slammed the final Daredevil and the Absolution into clouds of venting air and scrap metal.

Whatever VOLTRON may be, it certainly seems that it was formed, and crushed the Honourable Templum of Alcedonia under its mighty heel for a solid round one victory.
