In only the second match of the day to run out the clock, Legiunea Romana fought a grueling duel with Electric Monkey Overlords for the win.
Legiunea Romana brought a battleship heavy fleet against Electric Monkey Overlords' strategic cruiser heavy fleet. The expected boxing match did not disappoint.
The early destruction of calloniuos' Oneiros logistics cruiser put a kink in Electric Monkey Overlords' bid for domination. Trading blow for blow, Electric Monkey Overlords were left with a single Proteus and a Damnation to hold off 2 Dominix and a Gila cruiser.
Despite a long and valiant fight, Electric Monkey Overlords lost their Proteus. With so much time eaten up, their last Damnation's only job was to evade the slow battleships and Gila.
Time was called with Legiunea Romana declared victor.
