Alliance Favorite Pandemic Legion Captures First Win

Pandemic Legion takes out Dead Terrorists in a decisive victory. Both teams fielded similar ships. However, Pandemic Legion fielded one more Sleipnir, three Sabres and a Huginn versus Dead Terrorists two Dramiel, two Cynabal and Daredevil setup.

Tournament favorites Pandemic Legion began the fight by taking out both Dramiels that had raced across the field. The Daredevil was next to be taken out followed by a Cynabal with no losses so far to the Pandemic team. Dead Terrorists finally managed to retaliate by taking out a Sleipnir just as their Scimitar was destroyed. Not giving up after multiple losses Dead Terrorists took out a Sabre as they lost a Sleipnir. With their damage output severly reduced it was only a matter of time as Pandemic Legion worked through the rest of their ships.

Shamis Orzoz had this to say after the match, "We wanted to bring a ton of dps since points are the most important thing in the early rounds and that was pretty much it."

Dead Terrorist's 6ypsy Rose had this to say about the match, "We worked on a few scenerios before the match. We wanted to get their fast ships pinned down from getting to our logistics and try to use the heavy damage frigs to work on thier smaller ships."

6ypsy Rose also added, "It was a great time having the chance to take part in the alliance tourney for the first time and for myself. [You can] be sure you will see more of Dead Terrorists in the tourney's to come."
